Students are encouraged to wear the Unley Primary School uniform consisting of navy polo shirts and windcheaters worn with navy shorts, skorts or long pants. Girls also have the option of summer and winter school uniform dresses.

For most of the year all children are required to wear a navy hat when participating in outdoor activities and playing outside during recess and lunch breaks. Suitable styles include wide brimmed hats, bucket hats or legionnaire style hats. Students must also wear shoes suitable and safe for active play at school.
