Unley Primary School is a school with a long and proud history. The school was opened in 1879 and over the years has included a junior primary school, a primary school and a girls' technical high school. The school had a peak enrolment of one thousand five hundred children in the 1920s. Today about 440 children are enrolled, with families coming from over 65 suburbs of Adelaide. Today's curriculum and methodologies used suit the learning needs of today's young people and in every sense, the school is a "modern" school. I am very honoured to be principal of this great school. The school holds a high reputation in the district and throughout Adelaide and parents, students and staff speak highly of our achievements.
